Gods and goddesses rest in heavens above
watching us from behind spectral clouds
that move with their every breath,
as they observe our existence, till finally
they are drawn forth in curiosity into our plane
they walk along side us watching and whispering
into our minds and hearts the secrets to the gifts that we seek
as our soul seeks to reach past the divide of the human flesh
into the beautiful reaches of heaven above,
yet finding we are unable to as we are so solidly anchored to this earth,
an exercise in continual progress for my soul and yours
Roads are walked, paths sought, doors opened
Questions asked, answers given
A continual ebbing tide that rises higher and higher
As time flies on, carrying us along within it’s arms
Like dandelion seeds in the wind.
Sweeping forwards through history
an imaginary framework that our brain constructs
to accept the incomprehensible reality of what is real
and what is not.
and within our life, a few times we are graced with the beauty of the opportunity
to reach forth and touch a whispery silk thread of existence
as our souls embody flesh, walking side by side with one another
making decisions, living life,
experiencing, searching, growing,
every action unfolding the majestic red carpet
leading the way to our life tomorrow.
